Some days, when I am exhausted and stressed, I look up to find a beautiful sky shining down on me. Some days…that’s all I need to wash all the negativity away…

Wordless Wednesday – Snow in June???

This is what Mount Shasta looked like 3 weeks ago during out drive to Washington and Oregon. Hard to believe that in the middle of June there was still snow on the mountains!

The image was taken on my incredible Incredible (yes, I love my phone and talk about it all the time!)

The image was taken while my husband drove at 70 mph and shot through a window so please ignore the fact that it is not a crisp image. ;) Please do not focus on the technicality of the image, but instead the fact that THERE IS SNOW ON THE MOUNTAINS IN JUNE!!! I am still blown away by this fact. It’s not normal, right?

Oh and anyone want to go skiing with me??? =)

Wonderful Wednesday

If you are a Facebook friend that you will probably know that my last few days have not been all that wonderful. =)

Long story short, last Friday a few friends and I went ice skating. I haven’t ice skated in about 12 years.

After about 30 minutes of skating and building confidence because I had not fallen yet, it happened. I took a turn too fast and fell….on my head!

I had an instant welt on the back of my head and have had a nice consistent headache since then. 

BUT it hasn’t stopped me from enjoying all the good things that have been coming my way. :)

I had an awesome meeting yesterday with the local salon and their blog is up and running! YEAH!
