BRIGHT Children International is a new non-profit organization.  I am thrilled about this organization because their goal is to” educate birth families and orphanage care providers of the potential of their children with special needs” around the world. They want to reduce the number of children that are abandoned or sent to orphanages because of their special needs diagnosis.

If you cannot attend, but would like to help with the event, please consider donating an item to their silent auction or providing a monetary donation.

Crop For a Cure!

May 2nd is National Scrapbook Day. If you are an avid scrapbooker (or collector!) like I am, Crop for a Cure is a great event to participate in. Not only do you get 12 hours of cropping with fellow addicts, but you are also supporting a great cause.

Not only will I be spending 12 hours scrapping with my craft buddy Teri, but I am also one of the Sponsors for the event.

Babies R Us Super Bowl Party

Saturday was the Super Bowl Party at Babies R Us. They didn't quite get the turnout they had expected, but it was still fun!

This cake greeted us when we arrived at the party!

They were kind enough to let me decorate around the cake table. :)

I brought along my cousin's daughter and my husband and older son met us for the festivities. Here she is in her hula hoop glory.

This little cutie saw the games getting started and jumped right into hula hooping!

The kids picked a color (red for the Cardinals and yellow for the Steelers) to represent their team choice. 2 for Cardinals, 1 for Steelers. Too bad the kids I brought didn't pick the WINNING team!

Oh and CONGRATULATIONS STEELERS!!!!!

Visit Me at the 8th annual Rancho Solano Holiday Boutique

In addition to photography, one of my passions is crafting - scrapbooking and paper crafting to be exact.

This Christmas, I decided to do something different and create accordian albums. It tied-in great with the photography business since I was able to use it to showcase some portraits as well.

The albums come in a number of themes (Holiday, Babies, Love, Friendship, etc) and 3 sizes (6x6, 4x4 and 2x3). These products will be available for sale at the Holiday Boutique.











In addition to the albums, I also decided to create Holiday Wall Art. These will be available at the craft show as well.

My New Favorite Handbags

Oh how I LOVE my Gina Alexander handbags! I have been alternating them since I got them and have received so many compliments while out and about town.

My method for using them is I carry the purse with the picture of the kid that is not with me during my outting. :) If they are both at home, then I carry the purse with both of them on it. :)

Growing Families Expo

Last weekend, I participated in the Growing Families Expo. I met some great families and am looking forward to scheduling session with them.
