Class of 2011 REPRESENT! Letterman Jacket and the San Diego Skyline

When I met with this HS Senior a couple of months ago, his Letterman's jacket had not yet come in.

SO...now that his jacket is in, we had to, of course, take some Senior pics to represent the Class of 2011!

Oh so GQ wouldn't you say?

After some shots at the Liberty Station, we headed over to Harbor Island for some shots with the San Diego skyline. It rained the day before, but the sun was beaming that day and the sky was fairly clear. It was a perfect day for capturing the heart of San Diego!

A Little Rain Can’t Stop Us!

While in San Diego, I had the opportunity to meet up again with the fun family from Balboa Park.

I know I mentioned on their last post how much I enjoyed them and how I admired how close of a family they were.

After this recent session with quite a number of additional family members I now see how close they ALL are!

I thought it was a lot of fun with just the M Family alone, but throw in mom, dad, sisters and their families and it was a PARTY! or should I say PARTAY!

Winking smile

The beautiful sisters were LOTS of fun and the laughter and giggles were endless!

After meeting the patriarch of these fun, happy sisters I figured out where they all got their sense of humor from.

Towards the end of the session, the rain starting pouring. It didn’t stop this family from hamming it up for the camera, though!

We did manage to catch a tender moment of dad holding the umbrella for mom, though, as the session was ending.

Thank you SO much for a fun morning in the rain!!! You were all loads of fun and didn’t let the rain ruin the party! Winking smile

Cute Comes in Many Sizes

When I first started the photography business in San Diego in 2008, I met this family and they were one of my first portrait sessions!! At the time, they had a newborn and she was the first newborn (other than my own children) that I had photographed.

2.5 years later and I am so happy my trip to San Diego fell in line with the recent arrival of a new little one!!!

This little cutie was asleep for majority of the session and was such a peaceful sleeper.

I’m a sucker for chubby cheeks and this little cutie had such cute, pinchable ones!

I love to see babies smile in their sleep. I always wonder what they are dreaming about that makes them smile so.

Sweet baby feet….

Is she already starting to block her face from the camera? Even in her sleep??? :)

When my boys were little, I enjoyed watching them sleep. Sleeping babies are so serene and beautiful.

When she woke up, she had smiles to share!! Adorable smiles, that is!

And more smiles…

…wait one minute. At least that is what she looks like she is trying to say with that one little finger in the air! =)

And even more smiles during tummy time!!

3 Boys, A Mom and a Beautiful Day in San Diego

I know I didn’t really need to throw the “Beautiful Day in San Diego” part in because isn’t EVERY day beautiful in San Diego????

You met this pretty mama during my last sessions in San Diego last month.

This time I had the opportunity to photograph her with her boys. It was quite the adventure photographing 3 teenage boys. It was my first time with that many teenagers in one session, but I think we did well! =)

Little L was a little ham and kept me giggling.

Almost-a-Man M was tough to crack, but he gave me an occasional smile.

Always-smiling big brother J was up for anything and had PLENTY of smiles to share with me!

Just from the half hour session with this family I can tell that they have LOTS of fun together and keep mom on her toes!  I hope I look this great when both my boys are teenagers! =)

This makes me smile! I love the fun they are all having!

Apparently, when you tell them that we will take only ONE MORE PICTURE if they all smile for the camera, they will ALL actually smile! =)

Thank you D, J, M and L for keeping me laughing that afternoon! I had a blast with all of you!
