Miracle League Baseball

Last week, Cody started his new baseball league – The Miracle League. This is his first hear playing and he was actually pretty excited about it.

He is now an official White Sox!

I’m not saying it just because I’m his mom, but really? Isn’t he CUTE??!!!

He has his game face on in these next two pictures. Winking smile

We have come a LONG way in the throwing department. He used to put the ball in the glove then throw the whole thing. :)

He was a little bothered by my “GO CODY!” yells. Okay, maybe more embarrassed then bothered.

The run to 3rd base jiggled his helmet so his buddy fixed his helmet…

…but had slight issues with fixing Cody’s glasses. It didn’t stop Cody from running home, though!…

It was an awesome game and let me tell you, if ever you are having a bad day the Miracle League games are definitely the place to be. Watching these kids play their hearts out makes your heart smile.

No one sees “different”.

Everyone plays equally.

The crowd cheers equally for each team.

You can’t help but walk away and feel like you witnessed something AH-MAZING!
