The days prior to this session had been filled with rain and coldness so I worried that the weather would be uncooperative for this session in Oakland.
Mother Nature apparently was on our side that day because it was absolutely gorgeous and the sun was beautifully shining as I met this family at Lake Merritt in Oakland.
I couldn’t help but smile when I met their little guy. You all know how much I love babies and this guy was adorable with a capital A! I am a sucker for chubby cheeks, double chins and big almond eyes. ;)

This post is going to be picture-heavy because this little guy had so many facial expressions. We will get to those later, though! :)
First, you have to revel in the beauty of (still) new parenthood. :) You can tell from their expressions that he is the apple of their eyes!
