This is the best time of the year (other than Christmas) =).
The flowers are starting to bloom, the sky is really blue and the crisp coldness is kind of refreshing.
This is my favorite time of year for capturing blossoms. I have really bad allergies and it is early enough in the year that my allergies are not REALLY bad. =)
This week’s tip is to get outside and start photographing some of the new flowers out there!
Capture the entire tree as it is enveloped in flowers…
Isolate a bud and if you have a DSLR or a great Point and Shoot, blur out the background to focus on just one bud. It adds a dramatic effect.
Get a different view and get as much of the blue sky that you can around the flowers to show a contrast in color.
Take a stroll in your neighborhood and find some beautiful flowers to photograph. Not only will you get pictures of beautiful flowers (that you can use to decorate your wall), but you will also find it relaxing and peaceful to absorb what is around you. Slow down and enjoy the new blossoms.
