Right before the Holidays, I had a chance to photograph this happy family! Their backyard was a perfect setting.
The latest addition to their family was eager to be included in the the photographs…
He even enjoyed his solo moment in front of the camera…
…and took to the “photo stalker” position for this one
They have this super cool garage converted to art studio in their backyard and it is every artist’s (or crafter’s) dream! Not only is it a great studio, but it served as a perfect backdrop as well! I loved the glass doors.
These two are not only sweet, fun people, but they are great artists! We have all gotten together with a few friends for “craft” days and I am always in awe at what they create.
Katie is an amazing quilter and I love seeing the different patterns she comes up with. I can’t quilt to cover a mouse so I appreciate the detail that she puts into every quit.
Jenn is this uber talented artist that creates pieces that make your jaw drop. Each time I see a picture of her recent artwork I find myself just staring at my monitor trying to figure out how she did it. Her work is so dreamy and uplifting. I don’t know if that makes sense for it to be uplifting, but it just brings this calm when you see it. You can check out her portfolio here.
We can’t forget the other two fur babies, though they were much more camera shy than their canine counterpart.
Thank you, Katie and Jenn, for inviting me into your home (and backyard) for the session. It was great catching up with both of you and as usual, I enjoyed it!
