Inside a hotel of course. Well, not just any hotel, but a pretty one. When it started pouring in San Jose during this portrait session, we decided to move the session to the Fairmont Hotel.
The hotel was gorgeous inside and was a fun place for the kids!
If there is one thing I have learned as a photographer it is that you have to not be serious and be willing to be silly to get kids to laugh and smile. For these little guys I had to make a small package of Starburst candy balance on my lens then make my camera "sneeze" for the candy to fall off. :)
This little cutie enjoyed everything around him. I know this image is not clear, but I love the motion that it shows. He was finding so much fun on a set of stairs and landing. It was fun watching him enjoy himself SO much!
There was a huge, beautiful window that overlooked a train track and he kept going back to the window to enjoy the view.
Big brother was having just as much fun as little brother and the stairs were the place to have the most fun!
But even that gets exhausted so I love that he took a little break for some QT with dad.
Towards the end of the session, the rain stopped long enough for us to take a quick run outside. We found these gorgeous red doors and they served as a perfect background!
