Monkeying Around in Balboa Park

I had the pleasure of visiting San Diego this last weekend for some portrait sessions at Balboa Park. The weather was beautiful and could not be more perfect for portrait sessions! I hope the nice weather will be there again in October for the next round of portrait sessions (if you are interested in scheduling a session the weekend of October 23 and 24, please email me as there are currently 5 families already interested in scheduling their session that weekend).

I have known this family since I moved down to San Diego and any time spent with mom and dad is full of laughter. This was the first time I had seen Little Man C in almost 5 years and he is a ball of fun just like his parents!!!

 

I bet you didn’t know a celebrity would be joining us for this portrait session…

…Curious George took time out of his busy schedule of monkeying around and made a guest appearance just for us! =)

My older son is a stuffed animal fanatic, so I understand the significance of a stuffed animal to a child. Sometimes, they just have to get in the picture , too. Tell me…could you say no to this face asking you if Mr. White Bear can be in the picture? I didn’t have the heart to say no.

The way to a kid’s heart is to accept their friends and welcome them….even if they are filled with cotton. Plus, look at George and Mr. White Bear’s smiles. They were picture-ready, too!
