For awhile now, I have been wanting to redo my blog, website and logo. It felt too sophisticated. It did not quite fit. As much as I love pink and brown, I just did not feel it relayed what my passion in photography is – KIDS!
Fellow photographer, Nicky Peterson, (who is also a graphic designer) and I got together to brainstorm a new logo. I knew I wanted the colors teal, yellow and of course my favorite color, pink. I also knew that I wanted it to symbolize both what I enjoy photographing most, children, and my new specialty, special needs children.
She asked me what three things come to mind when I think of my hero, Cody. He is full of life, loves to smile and is a big ball of love.
Thus my new mantra was born – Full of life, Filled with Love and Smiles to Share.
These phrases define the innocence of childhood.
They also signify, to me, what a child with special needs brings into your heart.
Nicky’s super awesome skillz (yes, it is good enough to justify a “Z” in the skills!) came up with this…
I cannot wait to start using it on everything! It just makes me happy looking at it!
I hope you like it as much as I do.
Thank you, again, Nicky, for an awesome job in helping me redefine my photography-self. :)
