A couple of months ago we did the woman’s hair model session for Renee’s House of Hair in Vacaville, CA. (If you are in need of a hair stylist or barber, Renee and Donald are AWESOME! My family and I all go to them.)
This time, I had the pleasure of spending a Sunday morning photographing the male models to showcase Donald, the barber’s, skills. Of course, I didn’t mind spending my Sunday morning there and when you see the pictures you will know why. ;)
I was excited to also have Renee herself in front of my camera! Since it’s Ladies First, here are a couple of Renee’s images.
Going into this I was a little worried because sometime men are a little harder to photograph than women. The poses are a little more limiting (especially for headshots showcasing their hair) and well, I guess I just did not know what to expect. It’s not like they can get that wind blown look going through their hair or flick their hair to give it a more dramatic look. =)
These guys were GREAT models, though, and it turns out I did not have anything to worry about. These guys were naturals and were great sports about some of the more cheesy poses I had them do. =) THANKS GUYS!!!
