A Great Band!

Christmas in our household would not be complete without Santa and his Marching Band!

For the past 4 years, Santa and his band have serenaded us with Christmas tunes. My hubby and boys cannot get enough of Santa and his band.

I have to admit the band is pretty cute, but I wish they sang and didn't just play their instruments! My favorite is the guy in the middle. :)

On the 8th Day of Christmas My True Love Gave To Me....

handmade ornaments for my tree!

I really look forward to receiving the handmade gifts from DJ at Christmas. This year, I was REALLY excited that both my boys would be gifting their dad and I with their handmade treasures that they make at school.

As a gal that enjoys crafting, I truly appreciate their personal handcrafted gifts.

My Boys!

One of my favorite things about the Holidays is that I get to take pictures of my boys for our Christmas cards! They are usually pretty resistant to any photo session with mommy, but this time I had something new that they were more than happy to test out.

My new indoor studio setup had just come in and they could not wait to jump in front of the lights and get their pictures taken. And here I thought I was the only one excited about new photography equipment! :)

Christmas is in the Air!

I LOVE Christmas! The spirit, the decorations, the symbolisms, the gathering of family - everything about it.

Our Christmas tree was up the week before Thanksgiving. It did not get trimmed until after Thanksgiving, but it looked great with just the lights alone until then! :) Both kids and the cat also helped keep it look "decorated" by constantly sitting under the tree. :) All three of them at the same time sometimes.

What's different, yet nice, about this year's Christmas is that it probably won't be 70 degrees like last year's Christmas. This will help to give it that "winter Christmas" feel instead of the "I'm in my flip flops and it's Christmas!" feel. :) (Speaking of winter weather...for those in San Diego, it does get colder than 60 degrees in other parts of California. LOL It was 34 here yesterday morning! BRRR)

The outside still has yet to be decorated, but here is a peek at the Christmas decor inside.
